- The visible Gold-in-Glass surface of your jewellery is absolutely stable and will never change its look.
- You only have a slight risk of breaking, if it falls down or bangs against something hard.
- The coating of the closures on the back does not last forever.
- Although the closures are coated with gold or silver, they will darken after some time from either acid sweat, soap, perfume, or simply being worn.
- To recover a clean surface, clean the closure by gently rubbing it with a silver cleaner. A brass or silver coloured closure will be the result.
- All our closures are nickel free (anti-allergenic) metal with gold or silver coating, unless specified differently.
- Therefore our jewellery is perfect for most persons with allergies.
- We recommend pulling gently from time to time on the fittings, to make sure that they are still strongly connected.
- All our wire chains are made by hand out of 4 to 6 strands, according to size. Each strand consists of 7 miniscule stainless steel wires inside of a skin-friendly nylon coating.
- They are very solid, but never fold them! The wire has a memory and a trace of the fold will remain after.
- To store them, hang them straight or roll them gently into a circular shape.
- The models C 38 up to C 50 fit even through very small closures, which are sometimes necessary in our designs.
- All our closures are nickel free (anti-allergenic) metal with pure gold or silver coating, unless specified differently. Therefore our jewellery is perfect for most persons with allergies.
- We use only the best wire quality, which shouldn’t change colour, but this depends a bit on individual skin chemistry.
- We recommend pulling gently from time to time on the fittings, to make sure that they are still strongly connected.
- In case that one of the back side fittings comes off, you can repair your jewellery by yourself with slow drying 2 component glue (like Araldite).
- To do so, you need to clean both surfaces with surgical spirit.
- Mix your glue carefully (exactly the same amount of both components) and apply a thin layer on each part.
- Press it together and let it dry overnight.
- Fresh glue can be removed with cloth and dry glue with a razor blade.
- Small damages on the glass can get fixed with UV glue for glass or superglue, but they will remain partially visible.
- If the adjustable ring fittings come off one day, we recommend bringing your gold-in-glass piece to a silversmith to get a permanent ring fitting of your choice made in your size.
